Teach Kids to Dispose of Trash Properly
If you’re a teacher, camp coordinator, or child care provider, you can help us create responsible adults in the future by teaching youth now about the importance of proper trash disposal.
Litter destroys scenery and endangers wildlife. Roadway debris can lead to serious traffic accidents and freeway delays. Litter impacts our economy when tourists and prospective businesses choose to go elsewhere because of the litter problem.
The worksheets, activities and presentation materials provided for you in the links below are tailored to align with the Civics/Government Strand of the Social Studies Standard for Arizona’s fourth graders. We hope this information will provide a foundation for you to begin discussions about the responsibilities of good citizenship in our state and how our individual actions impact our environment.
Let’s get smart about the litter problem. Don’t Trash Arizona and be a part of the solution.
